2020年7月27日，欧盟发布条例(EU) 2020/1097，批准万寿菊（Tagetes erecta）中的富含叶黄素提取物（lutein-rich）和叶黄素/玉米黄质提取物（lutein/zeaxanthin）作为饲料添加剂用于小型家禽品种育肥和产蛋，本条例自发布之日起第二十天生效。
