The powder is made using a unique fermentation method of β-carotene and microencapsulation technology, spray-dried. It has good fluidity; when added to water, it has good dispersibility, and a simple stir forms a uniform solution. According to customer needs, it can be used with different concentrations of β-carotene powder to prepare brightly colored drinks; or it can be colored for solid foods. Since β-carotene is a source of vitamin A, it can also be used as a health-enhancing nutrient enhancer, making vitamin tablets. 1%, 2% and 7% powders show yellow or orange, while 10% powder shows red.
